Mission Astray 4CWk9
.....A sci-fi, futuristic roleplay that involves an expedition crew having their ship crashing, and their methods of communication with the rest of the military cut off. You are stuck with whatever rations, medical supplies, and weapons you have remaining from the crash. You may be trapped here forever, but you may also survive.

.....The planet is full of all kinds of hostile, predatory critters that you have to survive against. If you're lucky, you'll be able to kill them and harvest food from them and use their bones and hide and other parts of their carcasses for extra purposes.

.....You have electromagnetic armor that will provide quality protection during your desertion, but the problem is that they will run out of power soon and then eventually they'll only be dead weight. You'll have to make the most of the energy weapons and armor that you have, because when worst comes to worst, you'll be finding yourself trying to forge spears and arrows from any metal you're lucky enough to find, or even mine and process.

.....But what's both a blessing and a curse is the fact that you aren't the first expedition crew to be lost here. Perhaps you'll find some supplies from the last crash, or even other explorers... if they're still alive.

.....The environment is basically a huge taiga, and the climate is cold and often unforgiving. You'll find yourself struggling against nature just as much as you are against the hostile critters out to devour your tasty flesh. Not to mention, the plants are also dangerous. You may never know if those berries you harvested will kill you. How can you be safe? You could be fortunate enough to have a chemical processor of some sort on board the ship you crashed on... or maybe you'll just have to feed it to someone or something, and find out.

.....This roleplay is all about survival. You won't have this supply handicap forever, so you'll eventually need to rely on the environment and scraps of whatever you have left over to forge the necessities to survive out in this harsh forest of demise.

Sooo, anyone interested in joining, then?

I'm always ready and willing to embrace the wilderness!

I find this very interesting and something with a wall of text that I didn't read that big has to be fun, I'm in.

That's barely a wall of text. You should read it anyway. It's actually quite relevant.

I quoted that because it hooked me. As I was reading that specific part, and including the entire post; I felt like I was soon going to approach into a world that mixes MGS and Resident Evil aspects. Other than that, It feels like a huge video game in general. The core story of it has much to add, and the fact that the story can end good or badly intrigues me even more.

This roleplay deserves more attention, it's a good and should-be-successful idea. Trying to find out a way out and explore/discover many things in your new environment while at the same time; Possibly triggering an event that could end their lives. I love this idea, I'm in.

I was merely kidding, I actually read it. I really am interested in this idea, don't get me wrong.

I think I'm going to start allowing people to make character sheets. However, the roleplay will not open until I have at least four people ready to actively roleplay in it. This, of course, does not include myself.

I loved the concept the first time around. I'm interested to see where it goes.
